- February 27, the birthday of noted Marathi poet and writer Vi. Va. Shirwadkar, popularly known as ‘Kusumagraj’ is celebrated as ‘Marathi Language Day’.
- Our college also celebrates ‘Marathi Bhasha Sanvardhan Pandharwada’ (14 January -28 January) and International Mother Language Day (21 February).
- Many cultural programmes, Competitions, debates and talks in the Marathi language are organized.
